Wand Wood Wonders

Welcome again to "Wand Wood Wonders"!! We'll be talking about a very good Auror Wand. For all you future or current Auror's, you should definitely read and see if you can find...

A blackthorn wand!! Who expected that? If you're all raising your hand, I'm way to predictable! Now, we're done talking about my predictableness. A blackthorn wand is known by Ollivander to be unusual but given to a warrior. He says it is quite an unusual wand wood to work with because of the personality of the wands that are produced and has such big thorns. He does say, though, that it produces the sweetest berries after the hardest frost.

The blackthorn was has prodigous power but will not truly bond with the owner until they have gone through danger or hardship together. After that has happened, they cannot be separated. Because of these warrior-like skills and the cosmic power, these wands are often found with Aurors or Azkaban Prisoners.

BOOK 7 SPOILER!

In Book 7, Harry's wand is broken and he steals one from a Death Eater. This wand was a blackthorn wand that did not really agree with Harry because of the fact that it was bonded with the Death Eater. This Death Eater was Draco Malfoy.

The person who has the blackthorn wand is often calm, powerful, and resourceful. They are often in Slytherin or Gryffindor and will be skilled at Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts, or the Dark Arts, depending on the person!

Well, that's all for today! I'll see you next time.

Flitwick out.
