Although I know everything's magical here and we all know many things about this mysterious magical world but do we know everything about the wizarding families? I guess not. So I am here to tell you all about the magical families of wizarding world!
Oops-- I forgot to introduce myself! My name's Zahra Draco. You can call me zaha-chan, starry, zarry, dragonfly anything you want!
So Today I am gonna talk about a very interesting family. The Peverell family. The Peverell family was a medieval pure-blood wizarding family. The Peverells name was the first to "become extinct in the male line," meaning that the name had died out among wizarding families, but not the members of the family itself. The Peverell brothers are known for possessing the deathly hollows. Antioch Peverell is known for possessing the Elder Wand, Cadmus Peverell for the Resurrection Stone and Ignotus Peverell for the Invisibility Cloak. They even have a legend based on it, a famous one "The tales of three brothers". According to the legend, Antioch Peverell's throat was slit in his sleep the night after winning his first duel with elder wand. Nobody accurately knows that he was murdered or not. Legend also says that Cadmus Peverell did suicide to live a happy life with his beloved. Only Ignotus Peverell lived long and welcomed death as his brother. He was later buried in Godric's Hollow.
Many people including Dumbledore believed that they were real and possessed the hollows. Even I believe it! Do you? We should too! Cause it is real! How? Lemme explain.

The Peverells had numerous descendants through female lines, but by the twentieth century only two such families had been identified through their heirlooms. The first is the Gaunts. Marvolo Gaunt claimed Peverell blood through the female line, and had a ring with what he claims was the Peverell coat of arms, which actually was a ring set with the Resurrection Stone, and later became one of Voldemort's Horcruxes. The second is the Potters. Iolanthe Peverell was the granddaughter of Ignotus Peverell. She inherited the Cloak of Invisibility from her grandfather due to the lack of any male heirs. After her marriage with Hardwin Potter, the invisibility cloak was passed to the eldest child of each new generation of Potters as a tradition. In this way, Harry Potter got the invisibility cloak. And that's how they were connected.
The Peverells were a amazing family weren't they? A legendary family!
