Valentines day for me is all about candy and chocolate who doesnt like them , so I have a dessert Idea for you all dessert lovers (well who doesnt like desserts) for today we will be making *drumroll* Chocolate covered strawberries its an easy recipe you can make at home!.

Ingridients

16 ounces milk chocolate chips

2 tablespoons shortening

pound fresh strawberries with leaves

Steps

1-In a double boiler, melt the chocolate and shortening, stirring occasionally until smooth. Holding them by the toothpicks, dip the strawberries into the chocolate mixture.

2-nsert toothpicks into the tops of the strawberries.

3-Turn the strawberries upside down and insert the toothpick into styrofoam for the chocolate to cool.

Let me tell you you will enjoy this tasty chocolate treat and no this is not considered as healthy food.my favourite part of making this is licking the extra chocolate. Make sure to comment down below how you spent your valentines day? did you have a valentine or watched other couples around you and spent it alone like me
