Through The Classes! During each blog, I will talk about one class and its value here in the castle and what values it brings to the students and what famous witches and wizards taught it or even mastered it!
Today i will be talking to you about the wonders of Defense Against the Dark Arts! and why it is important!

There are many things that are taught in the class that is valuable for you to learn and if you don't think so well everyone has their own opinions. Mostly the things that are taught can be scary for some people and for some people they can be interesting.
Now here are some famous Professors and Students in Defense Against the Dark Arts in the Castle
Professor Remus Lupin and so many others took part in this job and some people swore it was jinxed because almost every year the students would get a new teacher. And there were some professors who just didn't know what they were doing and did not teach the students correctly. But apparently, it's also not jinxed because Professor Edgar Thorne is still with us and is still doing as amazing as he always does.
And I have decided to Interview the Professor for Defense Against the Dark Arts and this is what he had to say about his class " You don't have to plan on becoming an Auror for Defense Against the Dark Arts to be essential: witches and wizards inevitably encounter Dark objects, peers or situations on a near-daily basis and have got to be ready to face them. One cannot become a correct witch or wizard without, at the very least a proper basic knowledge of defense magic. Why? Allow me to be blunt: simply because the lack of such knowledge may simply compromise one's future as a living human being.!
My class is, more often than not, oriented toward practical lessons - and thus, it makes it more interesting and challenging. There is no time to daydream and goof off in Defense. And I'm not thinking about giving out detentions as a means to quell those bat habits: I aim to make Defense Against the Dark Arts a period of your life you won't ever forget - either in a good or a bad way, it doesn't matter to me - as long as the material learned sticks to your brain. To summarize, look at my class as an adventure; and it's up to you, the hero, to come out of it as a better person and a more competent one.
Don't forget to take his lovely class! Defense Against the Dark Arts is fun and I am sure you will have fun too!

Defense Against the Dark Arts is one of many classes that will put you through many challenges that you will need to face once you have graduated, you have no idea who or what you may encounter. And you learn specific spells from Mr. Edgar Thorne as well as learning about certain witches and wizards in his class as well.
To be honest, this class is actually fun and if you don't believe me then I understand but sometimes when you do go to class you leave after and feel as if you have learned something new, Professor Thorne is a great teacher and he knows what he is doing and is very good at his job.
