You've Got Owl 2.3

by Isla Brisbane

Welcome to You’ve Got Owl! My name is Isla Brisbane and this will be a weekly blog post filled with a little mystery and a game that you can participate in! So, of course, according to the title, it means you got something sent for you. However, before you run to your owl, let me set the mood first, alright? Here comes the RPG part!

Anyway, if you missed the article from last week, which is Edition 2.2, feel free to take a look at it HERE!
Since you are reading this, you, {%FULLNAME%}, are still in the "Postcard Exchange Program for Young Wizards" program. It has been so long, and the number of your postcards ... well, let's just say that there are SO many you don't even bother counting anymore. However, you still enjoy every writing that you received. It's quite surprising and interesting how you keep receiving different postcards, no matter from which country they are. At this point, of course, it would be normal if you receive two same postcards (the picture not the content), but no, none so far. You always got different ones. Hey, even one same object can be taken from different angles to make it look different for postcards! Incredible, eh?

As usual, it was a fine morning. Your owl came bringing another postcard for you! You take it from your owl, and as usual, you see ... strange markings. Of course. You take a deep breath and start reading.

OOG: Hover over the picture below to read the postcard. There is ONE word in this postcard.
Hey there, {%FIRSTNAME%}!
Greetings! My name is Mia and I'm from New Zealand! I don't know you've ever heard of the place or not, but if you haven't, I personally think that it's a great country! I live near Lake Wakatipu, one of the most famous destinations here in my country. I don't understand why people think it's so special, but apparently, the lake is soooo deep. Many tourists come here for water activities, so if you ever come to visit, make sure to do that, alright? If you're not afraid of water, that is!

As usual, you will find some different letters written on each postcard. Those letters will form some words, and it's your job to find what words these postcards have! Gather these words from all the editions in one series, and after you find all the words, find one thing from the Harry Potter Universe that is related to these words! For example, if the hidden words are steal, shiny, beast, cute, gold, then the final answer would be Niffler!

Send ONLY the final answer through owl to Isla Brisbane at the end of every series (so, according to the example, you only need to send "Niffler" to me). If you get it correctly before the next series gets posted (there will be a deadline for the answer), then you will receive a little gift for your participation! Every series will have 3 editions, so make sure to always pay attention to the details and get the final answers according to your clues correctly!

So, since this postcard will be the last edition for the series, it's time for you to send in your answer! You already got three clues from the three editions that I posted, so it's time to find out what the real answer is. I will be waiting for your answer in my owl until Thursday, 6 April, 12 PM CST. You may check the previous editions to get your answer, of course!

Now, postcard explanation time, I present you Lake Wakatipu! Again, I've never been here before, but I do wish I would go here someday. This place is interesting because, as Mia said, it's apparently a very deep lake - if I didn't read by mistake, it's the deepest lake in New Zealand. And yes, there are many activities that you can do here: cruising, skydiving, skiing, paragliding, bungy jumping, and even hiking! Now, feel free to comment with an idea for the postcard for the next edition! One series will be from one country, so, we will still be in New Zealand next week - the last edition of New Zealand! What place would you like to see from there?
