Hey there fellow Woppians! Welcome to my third blog! I'm Brennan and in my next few blogs I'm going to be speaking about the filming locations within the Harry Potter movies!
Today, we're going to be continuing with the places in London where scenes have been filmed.
This is a place which is used within the Philosopher's Stone when Harry goes to the zoo with Dudley and his family for a birthday celebration. This is also where the iconic scene of Dudley falling into the where the python is in the Zoo. As well as this, we first notice that Harry can talk to snakes when he talks to the one that had just escaped.
This location is also used the Philosopher's Stone as the entrance to Kings Cross Station. It's also been in films such as 102 Dalmatians, Batman, Richard III and others
This location has been used many times in; Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, the Chamber of Secrets and the Prisoner of Azkaban. It was proclaimed a World Heritage Site in 1986. You can get there either by a park and ride bus or a train to Durham Station.
This Castle was used in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and the Chamber of Secrets. It's the second largest inhabited castle in England. It has been a home to the dukes of Northumberland for over 700 years'
