Today’s topic is a Hot off the Fire duo:
Classic Hot Sauce + Fire-Breathing Potion!
I am sure many of us are familiar with the old hot sauce trick; dabbing a drop or two in your housemate’s plate when you think they’re not looking…. I see you {%FIRSTNAME%}! This always brings a laugh at the table as the participant in this prank usually scrambles to find water or milk to help soothe their burning tongue. But, if you’ve ever seen those old cartoons where they eat spicy stuff… the reality of this trick might be somewhat of a let down. I mean, in animation these poor folks get smoke out their ears and even sometimes full on fire! Wouldn’t it be hilarious to see this in real life? Well thanks to magic, more specifically potions, we can!
This week’s concept is not so difficult or tricky (unless you are a hazard in potions like me), the only thing you’ll need is a bottle of hot sauce and a few drops of the fire-breathing potion. Trust me when I adamantly recommend… ask a friend with strong skills in the potioneering department for some as there are many ways in which brewing this brilliant concoction can go very, very wrong. You do want to keep your eyebrows, don't you? (Shout out to my dear friend, and the most skilled potion brewer I know, Kore Ephebic for supplying me with this one!)
By now I’m sure you are probably already putting two and two together, but don’t be too hasty! Remember that only a drop or two is needed for this or else your poor friends might go full on dragon. With the right amount, generous but not crazy, mixed with hot sauce, your prank will be one to watch again and again! Not only will the unsuspecting participant have their mouth feeling like it is on fire, it will actually BE on fire! Watch and laugh as their face turns red, steam rises from their ears, and small flames roar out each time they go to yell at you. Just make sure you're not sitting too close... Unfortunately with this prank, you’ll want to use it sparingly as well, otherwise nobody will want to sit near you in the Great Hall! So, don’t go too crazy but do remember to take it with you over the holiday breaks. I’m sure everyone’s got that one member of the family they would love to see smoking!
