Harry Potter Filming Locations #6

Hey there fellow Woppians! Welcome to my fourth blog! I'm Brennan and in my next few blogs I'm going to be speaking about the filming locations within the Harry Potter movies!

Today, we're going to be continuing with the places in England and moving onto a bit in Scotland where scenes have been filmed.

Gloucester Cathedral

This place was used during Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 where they took their camping trip and found the sword of Gryffindor in the frozen lake. It is located in Glasgow and it's got some wonderful scenery so take your camera with you if you ever decide to take a visit.

Glen Coe

My of the Harry Potter films used this location including: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, the Goblet of Fire, the Order of the Phoenix, and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. It's where Hagrids little hut is as well as where some of the lake scenes were filmed and the entrance to Hogwarts Castle.

Glenfinnan

This Bridge has been used in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, the Prisoner of Azkaban, and the Goblet of Fire. The scene you most probably remember it from is when the Hogwarts Express is coming across it. You can actually ride a train across it nowadays.

Loch Eilit

This location was used in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, the Prisoner of Azkaban, the Goblet of Fire, the Deathly Hallows Part 2. It's known for the exterior shots of Hogwarts and also for the land that Dumbledores grave was placed on.
