You've Got Owl 3.4
by Isla Brisbane
Welcome to
You’ve Got Owl! My name is
Isla Brisbane and this will be a weekly blog post filled with a little mystery and a game that you can participate in! So, of course, according to the title, it means you got something sent for you. However, before you run to your owl, let me set the mood first, alright? Here comes the RPG part!
Anyway, if you missed the article from last week, which is Edition 3.3, feel free to take a look at it
HERE!
Since you are reading this, you, {%FULLNAME%}, are still in the "Postcard Exchange Program for Young Wizards" program. Anyway, that extra postcards thing that you signed up to last time ... truly made the number of your postcards increase drastically. It's just simply a LOT. You already lost count, to be fair, you don't even care how many that you have and when you received them. At this point, you're just happy that you collect these postcards, and that's it. Oh, also, you got some new favorite cards from the ones that came last week. There you go, some changes in the main collection!
That day, your owl came again bringing another postcard. You already suspected that there would be more markings, but this time, you're wrong. However, the postcard is still from Egypt....
OOG: Hover over the picture to read the postcard. No hidden word in this postcard since it's the last edition of the series!
Hello, {%FIRSTNAME%}!
Sorry if my handwriting is messy. I just finished writing five postcards for this program, so my hands are tired now, haha! This program is fun, don't you think? It's tiring to write, but once you receive the postcards, it's really worth the effort. Ah, sorry for not introducing myself sooner. I'm Sanura and I live in Egypt. The place in this picture is called Siwa Oasis. I've never been here because my house and my school are both far away from the place, but I always want to come. I hope my postcard reach you well!

So, today we have no red marks on the postcard because instead of giving more clues, I will announce the winners for this edition! Before I announce the winner, the answer is
Department of Mysteries. The keywords are
ministry, love, prophecy, time, and department. Department of Mysteries is a department at the ministry who does research on, to name a few: love, prophecy, and time. So, without any further ado, the winners are....
Venus Magnolis
Talia Celestine
Jessamine Choi
Blue Styll
Sagitta Daemonium
Nathanael Arif
Nick Valentin
Jason Flame
Celestina Black
Congratulations to all winners! You will receive your gifts soon!! Anyway, just a refresher for the rules: you will find some
different letters written on each postcard. Those letters will form some words, and it's your job to find what words these postcards have! Gather these words from all the editions in one series, and after you find all the words, find one thing from the Harry Potter Universe that is related to these words! For example, if the hidden words are
steal, shiny, beast, cute, gold, then the final answer would be
Niffler!
Send ONLY the final answer through owl to
Isla Brisbane at the end of every series (so, according to the example,
you only need to send "Niffler" to me). If you get it correctly before the next series gets posted (there will be a deadline for the answer), then you will receive a little gift for your participation! Every series will have 3 editions, so make sure to always pay attention to the details and get the final answers according to your clues correctly!
Postcard explanation time, I present you
Siwa Oasis! Apparently, it's a place filled with tons of freshwater springs that in the middle of the desert! Aside from tons of springs, this oasis also has tons of date palms and olive trees. Let's not forget that this oasis also has a saltwater lake, and it looks soooo pretty! You can never drown in this lake, heh. You can also explore the streets that are "decorated" by ruins there. Sounds like an interesting exotic place to run away from reality, don't you think?
Now, feel free to comment with
an idea for the postcard for the next edition! One series will be from one country, so, we will start with a whole new coutry. What place would you like to see in what country?
