In the last blog I posted, we learned about the blender and today, we're going to be learning about the microwave so you won't have trouble with using it anymore.

 

An Introduction to the Microwave

As many of you might know, I am clueless very skilled with using the microwave. I've seen it a few times and it's truly a strange object. It's got so many buttons and a weird screen thing that keeps your food inside while it makes some noise. I've yet to click all the buttons as well.

After doing more research on this weird muggle object, I've found that the numbers on the buttons are the number of minutes you want your food to cook. There's different settings for different foods that you want to cook and it has names on the buttons. There is also a clock on there that tells the time so you don't have to go find a clock.

 

A Short Guide to Using the Microwave

• As always, you need a microwave. If you have a microwave already, just ignore this part. Once again, don't use galleons when you buy your microwave, find someplace that will give you some muggle money.
• You'll need to plug in some things for the microwave to work, and you sort of need your microwave to work if you want to cook food.
• After you have set up your microwave, you can start warming up your food! You can test out the buttons to make sure they work properly so your food warms-up right.

 

Tips and Tricks for Using the Microwave

The microwave is quite a complicated muggle object, and a lot can get messed up along the way. Here are some tips for using the microwave so you won't have as much trouble.

• Don't warm up the food for too long since it can still burn. You can always do more time afterwards.
• I would recommend placing a paper towel over the food you are warming up since the food sometimes pops and you get a dirty microwave. I don't think anyone really wants to clean their microwave for that reason.

  
  The Wizard Ways
  In the wizarding world, there are a few heating charms such as incendio or even perhaps the hot air charm to warm something up. Incendio would probably be the better of the two options, but it's probably not as safe as the microwave.
