Hello, hello!
Welcome to another eddition of The Bucket List! If you recall, the last article discussed Autumn festivities. This time I will go over some things that humans and magic-folk famously enjoy doing during the winter season! Let's get into it :D!
#1 on the list is to:
Bake Cookies
When winter hits, a fresh batch of cookies can easily warm up your belly and kitchen! You can even decorate the cookies in theme to help you get into the holiday spirit!
Speaking of cookies, item #2 can help you wash it down!
Drink Seasonal Beverages
Flavors that can be mixed into your coffee or tea such as gingerbread, pepermint, or nutmeg may only be avaialble during the winter season. This also includes drinks that are their own bevarage like eggnog. So go and make sure to enjoy these lovely drinks when they appear and before they disapear once more!
Next up on our list, item #3 can help you enjoy the simple pleasures! Enjoy The Cool Weather
Not every place gets snow, however, most places do get that weather that is chillier than usual. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but when you can go ahead and take in the cooler air!
#4 on the list is:
Decorating For The Holidays
A fun way to get into the mood for winter is to decorate your space for the Holidays you celebrate! Whether it be a tree for Christmas, a menorah for Hanukkah, banners for New Years, heart-shaped decration for Valentines, or many more options, having these around you will surely put a smile on your face!
Moving right along, we have #5 on our bucket list. Something you can also do while doing most of the items listed in this article!
Listen to Music
Do you have a song that just gets you into the holiday or winter spirit? If yes, go ahead and give it a good listen! Jam out! If no, maybe today is the day you find that good song. Songs can hold so much memory and having one associate with this time of year can help you be in a good mood for winter!
Similar to our previous item, #6 can also make you reminise good memories!
Watch Movies
Movies hold stories that we can relate to or learning something new from. Watching new ones or rewatching classics can be such a fun way to spend your day! Christmas movies always make me so excited for the holiday to come! And even if you decide to watch non-holiday specific movies, something on your screen inside reminding you what season it is outside is very nice!
Without further adieu,#7!
Snowball Fight
A fun way to spend time with your loved ones! A good-natured snowball fight can keep you active while you enjoy the winter weather. This activity and the next few items on our list deals with snow. It is very common to see these activities on winter bucket lists, but if you are somewhere that does not get snow, there might be some special places you can go or you can use alterative materials to do these inside!
Next, our #8!
Sledding
Simmilarily to snowball fights, sledding is a great use of the winter season! I absolutley love the adrenaline rush you get when you're gliding safely downhill.
More active activities, #9!
Ice Skating
When I think of winter acitvities, this is one that it is always at the top of my list! Though, I am no where good at it xD It is always fun to try with my friends. Maybe one day I can skate backwards like they do, too!
Next, our #10!
Building A Snowman
... ♫ DO YOU WANT TO BUILD A SNOWMAN??? ♫ I'm sorry I couldn't help it xD! A very loved activity that you can do by yourself or with friends and family.
Next on our list is #11!
Holiday Shopping
Getting and giving your loved ones presents can be a very nice way to celbrate the Holidays comming up! Let them know you are thinking about them, remember it's the thought that counts!
Sadly, we have made it to our last item on this list, but I hope it does not disapoint! #12:
Get Cozy
With the colder weather here and all of the winter activities you can partake in, take some time to relax and get cozy. Watching the snow fall, your warm fireplace, or your favorite movie while you curl up in your blanket can be the best way to end your day! Not to mention cozy socks, sweaters, or drinks!
This concludes our Winter Bucket List! I hope you enjoyed reading and if you can, let us know in the comments what your favorite acitvity is for the Winter!
