It was officially Leah's third year at Hogwarts! Which meant she could officially visit the Hogsmeade village for the first time. She was very excited especially because, before she started at Hogwarts, Leah hadn't seen snow before. She lived in a place where snow fall was little to none. Now that she had been accoustumed to snow, she found that she loved it very much.
Leah and her group of friends, of course, took some time to discuss what they wanted to do today. Plans like visiting Honeydukes, visiting The Magic Neep, and trying butterbeer for the first time were tossed around within the group's discussion.
Leah's friend group was comprised with some very talent young wizard-folk. It was a lager group, though they were all very close to each other and tight-knit. There was Leah's childhood best friend Gregory, his twin sister Kathrine, her girlfriend Lauren, her best friend Sulivan, his cousin Eric, and then there was Quinn and Rebecca.
They were the type of friends that couldn't answer the question, "so how did you all meet?", fully. Other than the pre-made relations they had, they all just showed up in each other's lives one day and never wanted to leave. The rest was history. Which was a little funny to Leah as she always knew she was more of an introvert herself.
However, despite working well with one another and since they were a big group, drawing up an exact agenda for today found it difficult. They eventually agreed on going to the shop they spotted first. THis way they didn't have to worry. And it worked! Walking into Hogsmeade with the rest of their cohort was nothing short than magical. Leah's eyes lit up at the beautiful view. Shops in their rows all cover in snow and engulfed with a soft warm light in their insides.
She looked like a kid at the candy store. Which was perfect because Gregory and Lauren won in having their personal shop pick be first. Honeydukes caught their attentions first. The sweet inviting smell of all the sweets wawrpped into one, made thier noses happy and their mouths water.

They continued to walk and explore Hogsmeade, letting their hearts and or stomachs led them. They eventually made all the stops they wanted to, which included their Butterbeer tasting! This left them around a half-hour to do whatever else they wanted. They ended up breaking off into little groups. It started with Kathrine and Lauren and soon the other followed suit.
As aforementioned, Leah loved the snow and she did need some time alone to recharge her social battery. So it wasn't a surprise to her nor her friends when she found herself taking their extra time and going towards the trees. It was where the hussle and bussle was completely gone and it was just nature.
Leah's smile was so big as she looked around. The trees were bare from their leaves but completely accompanied by the snow fall. Leah's nose and ears were a kind shade of pink and she didn't mind at all. There was something about lying down in the soft snow without fully feeling the coldness of it. Once she closed her eyes, she imagined herself just in her bed, relaxing.
When she opened her eyes once more, she was met with the image of Gregory walking through the small forest. He had a relaxed look on his face. He shared the introvert trait with Leah. She had known that since they were younger.
With ample time to relax, Leah thought it was a good time for some friendly interaction once more. She waited until he was somewhat close before throwing a snowball she made at Gregory. The air was met with the pair's laughters.
It didn't take Gregory long to toss one of his own. A snowball fight broke out between the two. Both giggling at each other and their fun. After they got tired, Leah plopped back down on her back. Gregory took her lead but added and extra action of moving his arms and legs in a wiping motion to make an imprint on the snow.
Leah would mark this as a very sucessful trip to Hogsmeade, indeed!
