Issue #3 - " Winning Is A Hobby "

Hi there!!! Welcome to 'Catch Me If You Can!' The blog article that lets you get a closer look at the students here at Hogwarts who play for their respective House's Quidditch Team. Each issue will put a spot light on a different player so you can get to know them more off the field! Their (IG) personalities, skills, etc. ...That's if I can catch them of course! They are very speedy xD!

I'm August or 'Auggie' Lumsden and I have the privilege of being on The Gryffindor Quidditch team and the privilege to write these blogs! So with the intro out of the way let's get to the player of this edition! Introducing smart and swift Hufflepuff player: Molly Roslie!

---- (Start of the Interview) ----

Auggie: Hi there, Molly! How are you on this fine afternoon?

Molly: Hello Auggie! Hope everything is going well in that head of yours, haha I am doing spendid!

Auggie: Haha, thank you! Yeah, I wore my helmet last game so it's all good up here. I'm glad you're doing good too! Thank you for letting me interview you today... because think fast, your first question! What made you try out for the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team?

Molly: Well I've already had a bit of knowledge of quidditch, my parents would take me to the world cup and I've seen the Holyhead Harpies! Seeing an all women team really persuaded me to join!

Auggie: Oh that's so cool, mate! The Holyhead Harpies are a great team and inspiration. Yay for an all women team, always! Now the next question, what is your favorite part of being on the team?

Molly: I'd say definitely the flying part! I love flying! It's one of my favorite hobbies along with swimming!

Auggie: Flying is so awsome! And oooo swimming. You have lovely hobbies! So, throughout painting the sky with your broom skills, what is your favorite Quidditch position to play and why?

Molly: I am very grateful for my position as a keeper, but I'd say my favorite position is the beaters! They do so much and protect the keepers and seekers from those bloody bludgers.

Auggie: You're a very good keeper... I should know xD! But I never knew that your favorite position is actually beater! That's a cool fact 'bout you, Molly. Now, the next question: when you are on the pitch do you have a nickname our teammates or others call you?

Molly: I don't yet, not to my knowledge! I hope to get one by the end of my second year!

Auggie: :O Ooo I hope you get one too, mate! If no one beats me to it, I'll make sure to brainstorm some cool nicknames for a cool gal! Speaking of others... if you had to pick one person in the stands that is your favorite to come and watch, who would it be?

Molly: I would have to say, the head of house! I think seeing the head of badgers seeing the pride of my badgerness being taken out on the field would be fun to show off! :D

Auggie: :D! That's a great pick! You have such fantastic skills to show off for sure! Now, if you had to play for a different house team which would it be and why? Please don't be pressured to pick a... specific team (Lions) xD

Molly: I would love to play for the Snakes! I think I have enough determination for them!

Auggie: Oh yes, definitely enough for them! The Sep Adders are such a wonderful team, you'll fit right in! Your next question is: do you have any fears when you're up in the air and playing?

Molly: I do sometimes worry if a bludger gets to close, but I can always trust my beater friends to keep me safe.

Auggie: That is very understandable! Bludgers are such nasty things, they hurt so much! Now I bet you're a really good beater, just like how you knock it out of the park as keeper! In your opinion, what's one quidditch position you think you would not be good at?

Molly: I don't think I would be good at being the seeker, I am just not great at seeking and finding things, even though that's a major badger trait, I lean away from the crowd haha xD

Auggie: xD No worries, Molly! I don't think that makes you any less of a Badger! The snitch is unfairly hard to find :c. But, now for my personal favorite question! Lottie, if a song could play full blast as you walked out onto the field, what song would you pick and why?

Molly: My songs know what you did in the dark by Fall out boy, specifically the chorus, because it has so much energy to it, it gets me going every time and I feel like a star.

Auggie: I love that song so much! Ahhh, it gets me pumped too!!! If it plays fully blast, I promise I'll sing along with my full chest! And lastly, if you could give any advice to the young students who want to try out for Quidditch, what would it be?

Molly: GO FOR IT!!! You won't regret it! And if you don't make it at least you can say you tried! You may never know, you could be the next quidditch house cup champion!

Auggie: That's so true!!! And yes I agree, GO FOR IT! What great advice :), thank you for it and for answring all my qustions, mate!
