For my next victiminterview, I'm excited and honoured to introduce Garrett Marshall, an older member whom has a great lineage on WoP.

Are you ready for it?

Do you remember when you joined WoP and what brought you here?

I first joined WoP far too many years ago, I think around 8 perhaps 9 years. I was around at the beginning. Time does sure fly when you are having fun!

Can you remember your first topic?

My very first topic on WoP happened a long time ago, I had a stint as a Magical Legends Professor and my topic partner at the time and I decided to bake a cake in the kitchens, it went disastrous!! After that, well there was a Dementor topic - that was pretty fun!

That sounds like a class topic to be fair, now would you tell me about the friends you've made here?

I am incredibly honoured to have made so many friends from these sites over the years, some of them I am still very close with! For example, I am good friends with your Minister of Magic and HeadMaster, although most of the time the pair of them are chaos!

They are lovely people, What jobs have you had on site? Did you have a favourite?

I am very lucky to have held every OG colour in my time on WoP. My favourite will have always been Head of House. Being the first point to welcome new people and guide them on the beginning steps is truly awesome. Although, Minister also holds a special place in my heart - Alas! I am retired now!

I can understand that, head of house is such a special role, as is minister of course. How many characters have you written?

I have written for far too many characters on WoP! Some of my crazy ones you may know me by is of course Garrett, but you may remember me here as your Runes , Quiddy and Healing Professor - Luca DiMarco. You may also know me from WoP UK at the time, as Matthew Darcy, Gaius Garrick or Jensen Hawthorne... I've been around way too long! Lots more, long sleeping!

Makes a mental note! Do you have a favourite shop item?

My favourite shop item is Firewhiskey! Hint Hint...

Best get you a bottle then ;) What's been your favourite memory whilst you've been here?

My favourite memory on US was introducing you to your House Ghosts, I was very honoured to bring that to life and also introducing the MoM emoji. That is a favourite! You all should use it on your new Minister... she loves it! (Honestly!)

Now am I sceptical of the emoji haha, but the house ghosts was a great accomplishment, we all love them swirling in chat. Whats been the most fun topic you've written?

I used to really enjoy writing Detention topics, they were pretty fun - although I did also enjoy my topics here with your old Professor Darling when I was Luca! They were very cool and I've had the privilege to write with some very talented people over the years!

I bet that was lots of fun, I mean who doesn't love detention, ahem! What’s your favourite thing about wop?

My favourite thing about WoP is the community, whether it be a rainy day, work day or a chaos day at home ... I can log on and you all make me smile. This community is awesome and I love being apart of the magic!

I have to 100% agree with you there, our members are cracker! Can you share a secret about Garrett we may not know?

Garrett.... he loves chai! Although way too many people know that! There was a time that I almost was never your Minister. Did you know, your current Minister poisioned me! There's an inside scoop for you!

Now you know what to buy to get on his good side, chai or fire whiskey. Any advice for a person wanting to join?

For those just starting, or quietly reading, the best advice I can give is to jump right in! The more you pop into topics, write homework and build your character the more you get attached. For those who know me, the person behind Garrett they would say Garrett is an attachment of me. It's really true and I know that sometimes chat can be scary, but everyone started where you did at one time! Trust me, my very first application many many years ago was terrible! You can do it!

Great advice Garrett, any last thoughts?

After being a site leader for over 7 years and a Mugwump for almost four years - Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your Magic, it's been an honour :3
