Rue Holloway and Easton Clarke apparently couldn't stand sharing the same space, so they did what any reasonable Hogwarts students would do—they settled their differences with a staring contest.
Easton claimed victory in the first round, though Rue insists it was only because the "wind" got in her eyes. Convenient excuse? Perhaps.
Naturally, a rematch was demanded. This time, Rue emerged victorious, leaving Easton to fulfill the agreed-upon punishment: carrying Rue's textbooks for an entire month.
Both parties continue to insist they strongly dislike one another... yet whispers around the castle say Easton recently received a stalker notification. Stalking Rue, perhaps? Or is this fierce rivalry simply a clever disguise?.
Fireworks for Grades?!
Sources claim that the Headmaster has been... encouraging students to unleash fireworks around the castle.
The alleged incentive? Complete a homework assignment with a grade of one, and you might just receive fireworks as your reward.
An unusual educational strategy? Absolutely.
A brilliant excuse for chaos? Without a doubt.
Whether this is innovative motivation or a recipe for mass detentions remains to be seen.
