Wand Wood Wonders

I hope you all enjoyed my last blog on Dogwood, because I'm back with more information!! Today we will be talking about a wand wood that cannot be owned by any Dark Wizard. I'll refrain from pointing this out to a few in the audience. Anyway, today is rowan wood!

   

A Rowan Tree

Let me see, where do I start? As I mentioned before, a Dark Wizard cannot own this wand. Ollivander once heard this old rhyme about rowan wood, "rowan gossips, chestnut drones, ash is stubborn, hazel moans". He said he had found a sliver of truth in that, mainly with rowan wand owners gossiping.

Now, the owner of a rowan wand is known to be placed with the people who are (as Ollivander puts it) "clear-headed and... pure-hearted". The person is also virtuous and confusing. I mean, how is someone pure-hearted and gossip? I guess it's one of those mystery's we'll never find about.

The wand itself is known to be a great one to duel with! This wand wood is also known for it's skill in Charms and Transfiguration. It is a very protective wand wood, and is highly wanted for that reason. There isn't a specific house for this wand but if there was, I would think it would be Hufflepuff or Gryffindor.
