Hey, guys! It's your one and only, sparkletastic, Ophelia here with you today. I've come bearing beautiful gifts of words.

I was hanging out in the library the other day, studying up for a lovely exam History of Magic. I’m sure most of you know by now of all the exciting papers we right in there. I found myself needing a little bit of help on searching up some facts of the Black Family. There’s always that option of scanning over every single book that could possibly somehow related but I found out a much more efficient way. Turns out the library has little student librarians who work much faster than my eyes can read over 100 books.

Turns out, finding a student Librarian was also on my to-do list so I could bring you guys this inside look on the work-study job itself. If you are a lover of all things literature, I definitely recommend that you should stop by the Library. Librarians from what I’ve heard and gathered get to do something pretty extraordinary. Do you know what it is? They get to help write some of the books that we read and study, which I’m pretty jealous of. If you’re a writer and love to write books about all things magical and you feel like your home is amongst the shelves of dusty and beautiful books, I hope you enjoy this interview and maybe reach out to join these ranks of the elite book club.

Third Round: The amazing little bookworms!

Name: Pheonix Blaze

Year: Fourth year

What made you interested in joining the job you have?

I have always said, I would live in a library if I could. I have always loved everything about libraries... the smell, the sound, everything. When I saw the library needed employees, I jumped on the chance.

How long have you been on your team?

I have been on the Library team, since my second Year

Could you briefly describe your job from your perspective and what it is that you do.

Its not too hard. Pretty much, I write and edit the books in the library

Do you have a daily/weekly routine with your job, if so, what is it?

I do not have a specific routine. I write when I have the opportunity. There have been many nights I stay up after curfew, just to write.

What’re some of the fun things you’ve gotten to do with your job?

I think, for me the most fun part is learning new things. I have always loved learning, so it works out great.

What do you think is the most important quality someone needs to have in order to strive at this job?

Time. This is a very time intensive job, expecially for the longer books. Also it doesn't hurt to be good with grammar

If you had to say something to a student aspiring to join the ranks of your job, what advice would you give them?

Go ahead and join, but make sure you have the time and motivation. It is a very fun and satisfying job. Wait, satisfying is not the word I was looking for *chuckles*. Just make sure, if you don't have a lot of time, not to stretch yourself too thin.

Pheonix has left you all a parting gift of Oreos and glitter! I hope you all enjoy them.!

Stay Savage my friends,
