Jane Hallow is Lily’s tutor, a 5th-year Prefect who helps Lily with transfiguration and other stuff like that. I stare at Lily. Her lace is white as snow “Who did you hear it from?” I asked her. She gave me an odd look and sniffed. She wanted to turn away, I could tell.
“Why do you want to know? She’s gone!” Lily sobbed. I held her hand. I figured if I found who told Lily about it, I could solve a mystery. If you now well, I love adventures, and one was right in front of me.
“Lily, I think we have ourselves an adventure,” I say. I stand up from one of the armchairs in my common room and grab a bag, fill it with our wands, water, and food I stole from the Great Hall and other things that could help. Lily watches me pack up. When I finish, Lily nods.
“Maya Hallow, the 2nd year Slytherin,” Lily says. Her tears are starting to clear. I nod. Maya is a sweet girl but always figured she never like her sister Jane Hallow, based on the glare Maya gives her. Also, Maya was always told that she was the black sheep, because she was the only Slytherin, and everyone else was a Ravenclaw.
When we arrive at the library where Maya is sitting on a stool reading. Showing no empathy for her sister. I look at Lily and nod. I walk over behind Maya and record Lily’s conversation with Maya. Lily walks to Maya, she glanced at me but quickly turned back to Maya.
“Maya, have you heard-“ but Lily was cut off by Maya and her big ego.
“Yeah. Please don’t mention it, I’m sure she was stressed and hid somewhere, nothing is bad” Maya looks up at Lily, I hope Lily mentions our theory, then I got excited when Lily said:
“Well, we think that maybe someone took you, sister?” Lily asked. I wanted to scream “YES” But it wasn’t going to help at all. Maya’s eyes shot up at Lily. She stood and looked out the door to the library.
“Let’s go,” Maya said. I had stopped the recording and came out of the bookshelves. “Where did you come from?” Maya asked. I just laughed. As we walked out of the library, I looked up at the long line of stairs and knew this was going to be fun.
