You've Got Owl 3.3

by Isla Brisbane

Welcome to You’ve Got Owl! My name is Isla Brisbane and this will be a weekly blog post filled with a little mystery and a game that you can participate in! So, of course, according to the title, it means you got something sent for you. However, before you run to your owl, let me set the mood first, alright? Here comes the RPG part!

Anyway, if you missed the article from last week, which is Edition 3.2, feel free to take a look at it HERE!
Since you are reading this, you, {%FULLNAME%}, are still in the "Postcard Exchange Program for Young Wizards" program. You simply don't care anymore how long you've been in this program, but the time is definitely worth it! You decided to sign yourself up for extra postcards. That means, you will be required to send more postcards (you are given more addresses too), and you will also receive MORE postcards! Sounds nice, right? After joining this, you really do receive more postcards. Usually, in a week, you will only receive two or three. Now? You get five! So many!

That day, your owl came again bringing another postcard - yesterday, it came too. You already suspected that there would be more markings, and you were not wrong. This time, the postcard came from Egypt ... again.

OOG: Hover over the picture to read the postcard. There is only ONE word in this postcard.
Hey there, {%FIRSTNAME%}!
We've never met before, obviously, but I hope you're doing well. My name's Nakia and I'm from Egypt - pretty obvious from the picture, I'd say. This picture is from Valley of The Kings, just in case you don't know. I've never been to this place before, but I knew it's quite famous. My father's a muggle archeologist, so he knows everything related to mummies and stuff, and he always tells me about them. I guess it's cool, but I suppose being an archeologist in the wizarding world is cool too. Don't you agree?

As usual, you will find some different letters written on each postcard. Those letters will form some words, and it's your job to find what words these postcards have! Gather these words from all the editions in one series, and after you find all the words, find one thing from the Harry Potter Universe that is related to these words! For example, if the hidden words are steal, shiny, beast, cute, gold, then the final answer would be Niffler!

Send ONLY the final answer through owl to Isla Brisbane at the end of every series (so, according to the example, you only need to send "Niffler" to me). If you get it correctly before the next series gets posted (there will be a deadline for the answer), then you will receive a little gift for your participation! Every series will have 3 editions, so make sure to always pay attention to the details and get the final answers according to your clues correctly!

So, since this postcard will have the last clues for the series, it's time for you to send in your answer! You already got three clues from the three editions that I posted, so it's time to find out what the real answer is. I will be waiting for your answer in my owl until Thursday, 4 May, 12 PM CST. You may check the previous editions to get your answer, of course!

Postcard explanation time, I present you Valley of The Kings! I got the idea from Blue Styll's suggestion! Apparently, this is where the pharaohs were buried, so basically this is like a cemetery for royals. There's apparently a curse if you try to touch King Tutankhamun's tomb - scary! Even though it serves as a royal cemetery, apparently there are also some tombs for people who were not royal. This site is still active though, and even though people can visit, not all areas are open for public.

Now, feel free to comment with an idea for the postcard for the next edition! One series will be from one country, so, we will still be in Egypt next week. What place would you like to see from there?
