Harry Potter Filming Locations #4

Hey there fellow Woppians! Welcome to my fourth blog! I'm Brennan and in my next few blogs I'm going to be speaking about the filming locations within the Harry Potter movies!

Today, we're going to be continuing with the places in London where scenes have been filmed.

Malham Cove

This little camp is used in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. Both Harry and Hermione hide here whilst Voldermort is on the search for them

New College

This location is used used during the Triwizard Tournament which takes place in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Also the film where Dumbledore say...'calmly' HARRY DID YE PUT YE NAME IN THE GOBLET OF FIYAH. Anyway, besides that every year during the Easter holidays a 3 day murder mystery event is hosted at this venue.

Lacock Abbey

You may have seen this place being used in both Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and the Chamber of Secrets. It is also where Professor Snapes *sobs* Potion classes are taken place.

Virginia Water

Virginia Water was used to represent Hogwarts’ lake where Harry rode on the Hippogriff in the Prisoner of Azkaban and where Hermione passed on messages to Harry and Ron in the Goblet of Fire. It was also used in the Prisoner of Azkaban
