An Eagle's View:
Issue #3

I was doing homework in the Ravenclaw Common Room when my owl, Snowy, dropped a letter in the windowsill. I went to take it, gave the owl a treat, and went to read by the fireplace.

Dear Natalie:

I know that things have been awkward between us since you found out the truth about my sister, and our meetings at the Shrieking Shack. I hope that you can forgive me, but you must know that it was for your own protection.

As you remember, gnomes have become quite overbearing in Hogsmeade. There have been several reports of these little terrors coming out to destroy gardens. I have spent the past few nights watching from treehouses or attic windows; with home-owners’ permission, of course.

It was late last night when I finally saw the proof I needed. I watched as a silhouette of a man appeared… you’re singing the Queen song, right? Well, I watched as the man opened a large crate and then opened the crate, releasing the gang of gnomes!

All I need to do now is figure out why this is happening, then figure out how to stop them. I’ve added some more eye-witness reports with this owl, for you to read and go over. See if you can find a commonality between the homeowners.

Also, if you can talk to some of your friends and classmates at Hogwarts, see if their parents have written you about any weird sightings of gnomes or other creatures? Maybe they've been owling with their parents as well.

Love you honey. See you next week. Dad.
