Emma: What year are you?
Odin: I am currently in third year, and it's been my favorite so far, considering how many new classes I was able to enroll in this year.
Emma: How hard is it to juggle being a student and An AT?
Odin: Not difficult at all! Frankly, I spend many hours practicing my spells, studying in the library, writing essays for class, grading Charms homework for Professor Nightwood, and now practicing my flying, as I've recently decided to join the Slytherin Quidditch team. I suppose that could be difficult for someone who doesn't put in quite as much time as I do, but it's really quite simple if you buckle down and put your mind to it.
Emma: What has been your best experience as a student?
Odin: My best experience as a student has been making very dear friends who I simply adore. Perhaps that's not a part of the Hogwarts curriculum and doesn't have much to do with the various activities I mentioned in the previous question, but it's still an incredibly important part of my life here as a student at Hogwarts.
Emma: What was your first thought when you became a student? Was it hard to figure things out?
Odin: My first thought when I became a student, having just enrolled in Hogwarts, was just how huge the place was! It was incredibly difficult to figure things out at first, but many people were so welcoming and a great aid in helping me get started and find my way around. I would highly recommend connecting with upperclassmen who have experience here at Hogwarts if you have any questions or are simply confused about anything here at Hogwarts.
Emma: Did you have trouble making friends at first or did it come naturally?
Odin: It came absolutely naturally to me. Then again, I am Odin Black, of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black! I've hardly ever had trouble making friends.
Emma: What's the thing you like most about being a student?
Odin: The thing I like most about being a student has got to be the numerous options here, in terms of classes, clubs, extracurricular activities, and so much more. If there's something you like, you will find it here at Hogwarts.
Emma: What do you hope to do after you graduate in a few years from Hogwarts?
Odin: I hope to become the world's greatest Curse-Breaker, of course! Second best simply won't do, which is why I work so hard everyday to ensure I can meet my goals.
A big thanks to Odin for being willing to be interviewed and it was very fun being able to see his answers and what he hopes to do after he graduates from here.
