Overview

Fluxweed is a magical plant and a member of the mustard family. It is an important ingredient for Polyjuice Potion and also the Focus Potion.
For it to be used in the brewing of Polyjuice Potion, it is of vital importance that Fluxweed is picked at the full moon in order to take full effect.

For the Polyjuice Potion, the whole plant is used, for the Focus Potion, only the stems are needed.

Effects

It is also possible to make a Fluxweed Syrup that has a similar effect to the Polyjuice Potion and allows the person who drinks it to temporarily take the physical appearance of someone else.
However, the transformation with Fluxweed is incomplete, as the transforming person is still speaking with their own voice. The Polyjuice Potion also changes the voice of the transforming person.
