Crinus Muto is a transfiguration spell that could be used to transform the style or color of the wizard/witches hair.

History

During the school year 1987 - 1988 it is said that Andre Egwu Possibly used a variation of Crinus Muto to grow facial hair. In 1996 the sixth year class had practiced using Crinus Muto.

It is said that the incantation of the spell most likely is similar to the spell for growing facial hair, Ron once got confused of which of the spells he was casting, and ended up with a handlebar mustache.
