Overview

Clabberts are a magical tree-dwelling cross breed between a frog and a monkey. Their pustules are known to be used in potions.

About the Clabbert

The Clabberts skin is said to be mottled green. They have a wide grinning mouth full of sharp teeth. Clabberts also have short horns. Their long arms that end in webbed hands and feets allows the clabberts to move between and through trees with grace. They are great at sensing danger and their pustule will start flashing bright red. Clabberts favourite food is birds and smaller lizards.

Originally Clabberts were found in the southern states of America, but today they can be found anywhere in the world. In the past witches and wizards used the clabbert to warn them when muggles were nearby using their red color as a warning signal. MACUSA tried to stop this by giving out fines, since most muggles didn’t understand why their neighbours still had their Christmas lights on in the summer.
