Overview

Colovaria is otherwise known as the colour change charm. It can be cast on objects and used to change the colour of an object to a different colour.

History

Colovaria is a first year charm, although it has on occasion been used in Transfiguration classes. The charm has a similar incantation to the Growth charm which has been known to cause confusion in the past.

There is a variation on these spells that allows casters to make the target multicoloured. This variation is considered more difficult as it requires additional focus and skill from the caster.
