The Engorgement Charm or otherwise known as the Growing Charm is a charm that can be used to increase the size of the target.

History

The Engorgement Charm is a second-year charm, and is the counter-charm to the Shrinking Charm. This spell can be dangerous, as overuse could cause the target to explode. Despite this, the charm is safe to use on animals provided someone is experienced with the counter-charm. This spell can also be used on food or drink to increase it’s portion size, however the food will maintain it’s original nutritional value. It is also worthy to note that this is generally considered impolite though, and this spell is often banned from Hospitality Establishments.
