Overview
The freezing charm is a second year charm. It is used to stop the actions of a target, and can be used on inanimate and animate objects. It is considered to be rather useful.
History
Not much is known about the history of this spell, but we have many records of it being used successfully. For example the freezing charm was used to immobilise the branches of the Whomping willow.
