Overview

Herbicide potion or just Herbicide is a very poisonous potion. If it's brewed correctly it can kill or damage plants. It has a disgusting taste and might have a negative effect if it is consumed by humans. This potion is categorized between beginner to advanced. The recipe for it could be found in Magical drafts and potions.

History

During the years between 1984 and 1985 Snape taught his first year students to brew herbicide.

Recipe
First part:
  1. Add four lionfish spines to the mortar
  2. Crush the lionfish spines into a rough powder using a pestle
  3. Add two measures of standard ingredient to the mortar
  4. Crush the whole thing into a rough powder
  5. Add three measures of the crushed mixture into your cauldron
  6. Wave your wand
  7. Leave to let the concoction brew for 45/51/60 minutes (depending on the cauldron at use)
Second part:
  1. Add two measures of horklump juice to your cauldro
  2. Heat the cauldron to a medium temperature for about 10 seconds
  3. Add two blobs of flobberworm mucus to your cauldron while it is still warm
  4. Stir the cauldron four times clockwise
  5. Wave your wand to complete the concoction
