Overview
The babbling beverage is often used in pranks/humorous, or experimental purposes; however, the potion does not harm the drinker but makes conversations nearly impossible to translate or understand until it wears off.
History
The potion was first mentioned in the 15th century and was rumoured to be an accidental case. The wizard who created the potion was trying to invent a truth serum, which accidentally led to the creation of the babbling beverage we know today. The potion soon became very famous in wizarding parties, before it got restricted at Hogwarts due to classroom disruptions.
