Overview
The aging potion is often used for experiments or educational purposes, as it allows wizards and witches to age without it being permanent. It is said to cause side effects such as wrinkles, gray hair, or even temporary confusion.
History
The potion became well known after Fred and George Weasley tried to trick the Goblet of Fire into thinking they were old enough to enter the Triwizard Tournament, however, the potion is believed to have existed long before the event, likely created by experimental potion makers studying time effects.
