Overview
The polyjuice potion might be one of the most complex brews known to modern wizardry, since it allows the users to complete physical transformation into another person but does not change the drinkers voice or personality. Because of the known risks involved and the need for the rare ingredients, this potion is only taught to advanced students under strict supervision.
Recipe
The potion must be brewed of the course of one month, as the lacewing flies need to be stewed for at least 21 days before the final steps. It is also said once it’s compared, the potion is mixed with the subjects (hair) before being consumed.
History
The Potion was used by Hermione Granger in 1992 to infiltrate the Slytherin common room. According to historians, Zygmunt Budge also wrote it in the Book of Potions, calling it one of the most difficult mixtures to master.
