Overview
Skele-gro is a powerful healing potion that regrows bones that have been broken / lost or vanished. It’s most often used in hospitals or by qualified mediwizards, since the process of the potion is painful and can take several hours to complete. Despite the discomfort, it’s still considered one of the most effective recovery potions ever to be made.
History
Skele-gro was invented by a wizard named Linfred of Stinchcombe, he was an ancestor of the Potter family, who also created several other medical potions that are used to this day. The potion gained its attention at Hogwarts in 1992 when Madam Pomfrey used it to regrow Harry Potter’s bones after Professor Lockheart accidentally removed them during a Quidditch match.
