Overview
The wit-sharpening potion is mainly used to improve focus; it doesn’t make someone smart, but it helps them clear mental fog and makes it easier to think quickly. Because of its practical use in studying and exams, it’s a common potion taught in basic Hogwarts classes.
History
The potion appears in Hogwarts lesson and is taught by Professor Snape. It’s one of the earlier potions introduced to students because the ingredients require preparation skills and controlled heating techniques, though it is said that it’s not a complex brew but useful for potion making training
