Overview

Moondew is a type of flowering plant that is found in areas of Scotland and sometimes Ireland.

History

The magical effects of Moondew were discovered by Cliodna, a female druid from the Middle Ages. In liquid form, it was used in brewing the wiggenweld potion and the draught of Living Death. Madam Rosmerta also used moondew in her super sweet recipe for butterbeer.
