Overview

Knotgrass is a plant with magical aspects. It's used to brew potions like the polyjuice and Invisibility potion, as well as being used in an alcoholic drink called Knotgrass mead.

History

November 29, 1926: The Daily Prophet had a paper issued focusing on the dry season leading to a knotgrass shortage.

1989 - 1990: Pamona Sprout taught students how to care for knotgrass during sixth year Herbology class.

1996: Harry Potter and Hermione Granger struggled through a patch of knotgrass growing in the Forbidden forest on their way back from meeting with Grawp.
