Overview
A woody and ground climbing species of plant in the evergreen category belonging to the Araliaceae family. It can be used for a wand wood, wandmakers such as Cosme Acajor used ivy.
History
1989 - 1990: During sixth year Herbology class, students were taught how to trim Ivy by Pamona Sprout.
1990 - 1991: Students were taught to trim Ivy in order to let sunlight in to allow asphodel to grow in the school greenhouse.
The tunnel leading to the boathouse is hidden by a curtain of Ivy.
1994: Ivy had spread so badly that it almost completely covered the back door of the Riddle house. Ivy was also used to decorate for the Yule Ball during this year.
1997: Ivy covered what was left of the Potters cottage.
