History

Professor Fortinbras was given classroom 2E to teach Charms at Hogwarts. She was also given an office to work in. She was known to have believed that the Cursed Vaults truly existed. She and other teachers created a “circle of trust” where they researched the infamous vaults. She later wrote about her fears and suspicions of the vault in a book that she kept in her classroom. The Potions professor at the time, Professor Bartholomew, became her closest friend and confidante. She tried to conceal his identity so that he would not be implicated in the conspiracy. Professor Fortinbras eventually became acquainted with Nearly Headless Nick, the ghost of the Gryffindor house. Her writings about the Cursed Vaults would eventually be found by Hogwarts students in 1987.
