Overview

Albino Bloodhounds are a breed of dog with albinism. They have no pigment in their eyes, fur, or skin. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has a pack of these animals, cared for by the Hogwarts Hippogriff Club. The Pest Advisory Board of the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures keeps a pack of twelve dogs, which are used to keep Nogtails away from their farms. In 1990, a student transformed a small object into an Albino Bloodhound to defend themselves against a Nogtail in Defense Against the Dark Arts class.
