Overview
The self-fertilizing shrub is a type of plant that feeds on flesh. It also has the ability to produce its own fertilizer, which is where the name comes from.
Specifics
This plant requires watering and lots of flesh to survive. When the plant fertilizes itself, it doesn’t need a lot of care. Typically, it is not advisable to plant more than three of them next to each other, as they would likely kill each other immediately. Self-fertilizing shrubs are not very easy to find, as they primarily live towards the back of caves. When a spot is selected for a shrub to live in, the area should be damp and dark, just like a cave. For the most part, these shrubs do not like any other plants and will most likely kill them. Hogwarts fifth-year students are taught about this plant and required to write an essay on it. Their Herbology textbook included some very high-quality pictures of these plants. These plants are considered extremely dangerous because of their taste for flesh, including human flesh. It is best to wear gloves when handling them.
