Overview
Barberus Bragge was a British Wizard and Chief of the Wizards’ Council in the 1260s. At a Quidditch game he was attending, he decided to throw a Golden Snidget (magical bird) onto the field to make the game more interesting. He told the players that whoever could catch the bird would be paid 150 galleons. The idea was well received and began to be implemented in Quidditch games across the world, replacing the bird with another object, and even adding a new member to Quidditch teams: the Seeker.
