Overview
Chadwick Boot was an Irish-American wizard and one of the four founders of the Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the United States, founding the Thunderbird House. He was particularly talented in Charms and went on to write multiple books used for teaching the subject at Ilvermorny.
History
Born in Ireland in 1618, Chadwick, with his family and younger brother Webster, traveled to the New World with the Plymouth settlers. After a Hildebehind tragically killed their parents, the two brothers were rescued by a Pukwudgie called William, who introduced them to Isolt and James Steward, who adopted them. Together, they built Ilvermorny Cottage, and Chadwick’s mother would inspire him and his brother with stories of Hogwarts, inspiring the creation of Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. They named the institution’s houses after different magical beasts. Chadwick became a renowned wizard and author after that, marrying Josefina Calderon, and his descendants remain prominent in American Wizarding culture.
