History

• 1951-1962/1963: Bellatrix was born in 1951 to Cygnus Black (iii) and Druella Rosier. Growing up in a wealthy family and raised to be very proud of her pureblood heritage. She was the couple's first born child, making her the elder sister to Andromeda and Narcissa Black.
• 1962/63-1969/70: Bellatrix attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and was sorted into Slytherin. Her sister would follow not long after. During these years the sisters were all very close to each other. Bellatrix would meet similar minded individuals while at school, a group of Slytherins and aspiring Death Eaters. This group included Severus Snape, Wilkes, Evan Rosier, Avery, Rodolphus Lestrange, and Mulciber.
• 1969-1970: During these years Bellatrix along with the rest of her family cut off Andromeda when she married the Muggle-born Ted Tonks, causing her to be disowned by the entirety of House Black. She had never seen her sister again following that day. Andromeda was not the only family member that Bellatrix had cut ties with. Sirius Black, her first cousin, was also blacklisted and marked as a blood-traitor due to his very different opinions on Muggles and Muggle-borns. Bellatrix was also married during this time to Rodolphus Lestrange, a fellow pure-blood and Death Eater. Unlike her sisters she never showed any love or affection for her husband whatsoever.
• 1970-1981: Bellatrix along many others became followers of Lord Voldemort and was trained in the Dark Arts from Voldemort himself. She remained loyal to her master all through the first war and long after his downfall.
• 31 October 1981: Bellatrix along with three other Death Eaters- Rodolphus Lestrange, Barty Crouch Jr, and Rabastan Lestrange tortured Frank and Alice Longbottom with the Cruciatus Curse to the point of permanent insanity leading the new parents of Neville Longbottom, to be placed in the Janus Thickery Ward for irrevocable spell damage at St. Mungo’s Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries.
• 1981-1995: Bellatrix along with her accomplices were all captured and tried before the Council of Azkaban where they received a life sentence in Azkaban as Prisoner 93 with no chance of release. Bellatrix during the trial did not lie about what she had done nor her devotion and unwavering loyalty to the Dark Lord Voldemort, calling herself one of the Dark Lord’s most loyal followers.
• June 1995: Voldemort returned to power and proclaimed that Bellatrix along with Rodolphus and Rabastian Lestrange, and Barty Crouch jr were to be rewarded for their unwavering loyalty and faithfulness to him.
• January 1996: A mass breakout from Azkaban orchestrated by Voldemort had let imprisoned inmates to escape, among them was Bellatrix Lestrange who then rejoined Voldemort. All ten escaped criminals were all considered to be the most dangerous convicts based on the brutality of their crimes.
• 1996: Bellatrix, Rodolphus, and Rabastan were all a part of the Death Eater task force Lucius Malfoy led in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries in a plot to steal a prophecy involving Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort. During this run in Bellatrix was eager to attack the others as well as killing her first cousin, Sirius Black as well as dueling and defeating her niece Nymphadora Tonks.
• July 1996: Bellatrix went with her sister Narcissa Malfoy to Severus Snape's house in Spinners End. During this visit Bellatrix would voice the distrust she had of Snape while Narcissa asks for Snape's help in protecting and helping her son, Draco Malfoy.
• 1996: Bellatrix would begin to teach her nephew Draco Malfoy Occlumency where Draco was able to successfully block Snape and others in his 1996-1997 school year.
• 1997- Bellatrix begins living at Malfoy Manor with his sister Narcissa Malfoy. She was the only resident of the manor at that time who was actually pleased that the Dark Lord was staying there. Despite Bellatrix unwavering loyalty to Voldemort he still managed to purposefully embarrass her alongside the Malfoy Family, Narcissa, Lucius, and Draco Malfoy, when mentioning the marriage of Nymphadora Tonks the daughter of their sister;who was seen as a blood traitor, and her marriage to the werewolf Remus Lupin. Bellatrix still insisted during it that she and Narcissa did not consider Nymphadora to be their niece as they disowned their sister for marrying a Muggle-born. Voldemort would go on to advise Bellatrix to Prune her family tree which she of course eagerly agreed to.
• July 27, 1997- During the Battle of Seven Potters, as Harry along those disguised by the polyjuice potion as Harry were attempting to move Harry from 4 Private Drive, Bellatrix alongside her husband and other fellow Death Eaters pursued a disguised Ronalad Weasley and Tonks, which of whom Bellatrix tries very hard to kill which ultimately led to Tonks escaping and Rodolphus being injured during the pursuit.
• March 1998- Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger were captured by a group of Snatches and brought to Malfoy Manor where a very eager Bellatrix was awaiting their arrival and ultimately their turn over to Lord Voldemort. During this Bellatrix would attack some of the snatchers, torture Hermione with the Cruciatus Curse and a knife speling Mudblood into her arm. This lasted until Harry and Ron came to try to aid her after they were shown a moment of mercy by Peter Pettigrew. Arriving, Harry stunned Greyback and Lucius while Ron disarmed Bellatrix. Bellatrix would then hold Hermione at knife point until Dobby arrived after being sent by Aberforth Dumbledore. Hermione would escape from Bellatrix's grip as a falling chandelier caused enough of a diversion to do so. During the attempt to apparate away Bellatrix throwing the knife at the trio and Dobby would connect the hit ultimately killing Dobby. After the trio's successful escape though Bellatrix among her family would be severely punished by Voldemort for allowing Harry to escape.
• May 1at 1998- After the manor incident Hermione would later use a hair of Bellatrix's to use in a polyjuice potion later turning herself into Bellatrix to gain access to a vault at Gringotts.
• May 2nd 1998- Bellatrix finally succeeded in Murdering Nymophadora Tonks. During a moment of retreat Bellatrix offered to use a killing curse on Harry Potter but was turned down by Voldemort coldly. The same happened during the offer of checking Harry for any signs of life. When the Battle resumed Bellatrix fought Hermione Granger, Ginny Weasley, and Lina Lovegood all at once after becoming the last Death Eater standing beside Voldemort who at the time was also fighting three opponents. Despite the witches working together they were still unable to outclass Bellatrix. Bellatrix casting a killing curse at Ginny narrowly missing her by an inch had signed her death, Molly Weasley Ginny's mother had witnessed this happen. The Weasley matriarch, having already lost one child that night, defended and protected her daughter fiercely as she cast forward a series of curses. The two began to duel intensely both powers not only stated but shown causing the ground beneath them to become hot and cracked due to their intent to finish the other off. This continued until eventually Molly connected a curse causing Bellatrix to drop dead as she was struck in the chest with the curse.
