Overview

Bundimuns are magical creatures that can be found all around the world in several places.

Description

These creatures are greenish colored pests with several eyes that eat dirt. These creatures are known as pests because they creep into houses, going underneath floorboards and behind skirting boards, infesting the homes in the process.

One would be able to tell when a Bundimun is near by the smell of a foul odor that smelled like decay.

These creatures also troublesome because they secrete a substance that is extremely acidic, capable of rotting entire building structures. If an infestation was large and bad enough, they were capable of causing entire buildings to collapse due to the rotting.

The scouring charm was useful in getting rid of small infestations, however larger invasions would have to be dealt with by the Department For Regulation And Control Of Magical Creatures.

Bundimums were known to spit out their ooze when annoyed.

The ooze, when diluted can be used to several magical cleaning solutions.

History

During the 1987 through 1988 school year at Hogwarts, the hut belonging to Rubeus Hagrid suffered a severe Bundimun infestation, which Jacob's sibling had to help remove.
