Deathly Hallows

The Deathly Hallows Explained

The Deathly Hallows are three legendary magical objects said to have been created by Death himself. Together, they are rumored to make their possessor the Master of Death. The tale of the three brothers who first owned these objects is one of the most famous stories in the wizarding world.

The Three Hallows

The Elder Wand is the most powerful wand in existence, unbeatable in a duel when wielded by its true master. Its bloody history of owners killing each other to claim it earned it the name "the Deathstick."

The Resurrection Stone can summon shades of the dead back to the world of the living — though not truly bring them back to life. Harry used it before facing Voldemort in the Forbidden Forest.

The Cloak of Invisibility is no ordinary invisibility cloak. Unlike others that fade over time, this cloak renders the wearer perfectly invisible forever. It was passed down through the Peverell family to the Potters.

The Deathly Hallows in the Story

The quest for the Hallows becomes central to the final book, as both Harry and Voldemort seek them for different reasons. While Voldemort pursues the Elder Wand for power, Harry ultimately becomes the true master of all three Hallows.
