Diagon Alley
Diagon Alley — The Wizarding World's Shopping District
Hidden behind the Leaky Cauldron in London, Diagon Alley is the magical high street where witches and wizards buy everything they need. From wands and cauldrons to robes and owls, Diagon Alley is every young wizard's first taste of the magical world.
Famous Shops of Diagon Alley
Ollivanders has been making fine wands since 382 B.C. — "the wand chooses the wizard." Flourish and Blotts stocks every textbook a Hogwarts student needs. Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, founded by Fred and George Weasley, sells joke products and magical pranks that delight students and adults alike.
Gringotts Wizarding Bank
The imposing white marble building at the end of Diagon Alley houses Gringotts, run by goblins and protected by dragons and powerful enchantments. Deep beneath London, vaults hold the treasures of wizarding families — and once held one of Voldemort's Horcruxes.
Knockturn Alley
A dark side street off Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley is known for shops dealing in dark artifacts and questionable goods. Borgin and Burkes is its most notorious establishment.
