Quidditch

Quidditch — The Wizarding World's Favorite Sport

Quidditch is the most popular sport in the magical world, played on broomsticks high above the ground. With four balls, seven players per team, and three types of goals, Quidditch is fast, dangerous, and absolutely thrilling to watch and play.

How Quidditch Works

Each team has seven players: three Chasers who score with the Quaffle through the opposing team's three hoops (10 points each), two Beaters who protect teammates from the Bludgers, one Keeper who guards the hoops, and one Seeker whose job is to catch the Golden Snitch — ending the game and earning 150 points.

Famous Quidditch Teams and Players

At Hogwarts, the four house teams compete for the Quidditch Cup. Harry Potter became the youngest Seeker in a century when he joined the Gryffindor team in his first year. Professional teams like the Chudley Cannons, Puddlemere United, and the Holyhead Harpies compete in leagues worldwide.
